Founded in 1996 from an idea by DJ Skizo, Alien Army is Europe’s first DJ crew dedicated to turntablism.

It was born from the desire to break a preconception: in Italy, the DJ was still seen as a supporting element, the fifteen minutes of scratching between songs. Alien Army set out to prove that the DJ could be a protagonist, a musician and a performer.

The first formation brought together DJ Skizo, DJ Stile, Gruff, Zak and Double S. These were years of competitions, relentless training and the pursuit of technical limits. The competition circuit became the Armata’s battlefield and the place where new talent was discovered. This is where the first generation encountered Tayone, Inesha, John Type and Metz.

From then on, Alien Army continued to evolve through successive generations of DJs: 2P, Simo G, Fakser, 5L and, more recently, DJ Bront, DJ Ghost and Wall Dot.

The group never dies: some members stay, others take different paths, while new elements arrive bringing fresh energy, techniques and languages.
